Command (Primary Manifest)
The Command division of the Bajoran Militia is made up of experienced officers that are responsible for carrying out the orders of the Bajoran Provisional Government and the Bajoran Militia. Members of the Command division have undergone training at the Bajoran Military Academy's Command School before accepting positions in the fleet.
Commanding Officer The Commanding Officer is the seniormost Militia officer aboard the vessel and is in charge of everything that happens on the vessel. The Commanding Officer is responsible for executing the orders from the Provisional Government and Militia leaders. First Officer The First Officer is the second seniormost Militia officer aboard the vessel and assists the Commanding Officer in their duties including management of all officers and enlisted personnel aboard the vessel. In the event the Commanding Officer is unable to do their duties, the First Officer assumes their role. -
Support Characters (SIM NPCs)
Support characters are characters that'll either push the plot forwarded, or provide overall story telling support when needed.
CDF Strategic Operations Commander Colonial Member of Parliment A representative who sits in the parliament of the DMZ colonies has the primary responsibility to make sure the colonists' voices are heard. Federation Council Member The Chief Officer is the seniormost officer aboard the vessel and is in charge of everything that happens on the vessel. -
Aerial Operations (Primary Manifest)
The Aerial Operations division is comprised of pilots of both large vessels as well as single-seat fighters and atmospheric vessels. The Aerial Operations division is responsible for the safe navigation of all vessels in the Bajoran Militia including operation of Aerial Guard Fighter Detachments.
First Pilot The First Pilot is the seniormost Aerial Operations officer aboard the vessel. The First Pilot is responsible for the safe navigation and piloting of the vessel as well as any non-Militia auxiliary craft such as shuttlepods, shuttlecraft and impulse vessels that may be assigned to the vessel. Pilot The pilot is a member of the Aerial Operations division and is responsible for aiding the First and Second Pilots in navigating and piloting the vessel as well as auxiliary craft. -
Operations (Primary Manifest)
The Operations division is responsible for keeping systems functioning properly, rerouting power, bypassing relays and doing whatever else is necessary to keep the systems operating at peak efficiency. Most Operations graduates of the Bajoran Military Academy are also highly skilled in engineering skills as well.
First Operations Officer The First Operations Officer is the seniormost Operations officer aboard the vessel and is responsible for maintaining the vessel on a day-to-day basis including anything that maintains the smooth operation of the vessel. Because of the close ties to the Engineering division, most First Operations Officers also spend some of their time working with the Engineering division. Quartermaster The Quartermaster specializes in distributing supplies and provisions to personnel aboard the vessel. In addition, the Quartermaster controls all physical assignments to quarters throughout the vessel. -
Engineering (Primary Manifest)
The Engineering division has the enormous task of keeping the vessel working; they are responsible for making repairs, fixing problems and ensuring the vessel is ready for anything. In addition to maintaining the larger vessels, the Engineering division also works closely with the Aerial Guard to maintain the Aerial Guard Fighter Detachments as well.
Chief Engineer The Chief Engineer is responsible for the condition of all systems and equipment aboard the vessel and oversees maintenance, repairs and upgrades of all equipment. During crisis situations, the Chief Engineer is also responsible for the any repair teams.
The Chief Engineer is not only the division head but also a senior officer, responsible for all the crew members in her/his division and maintenance of the duty rosters. -
Security & Tactical (Primary Manifest)
Comprised of veterans of the Cardassian Occupation and Dominion War, the Security & Tactical division of the Bajoran Militia is responsible for the safety of the personnel aboard a ship or base as well as the tactical planning, preparation, maintenance and execution of tactical tasks.
Chief of Security The Chief of Security is responsible for ensuring the safety of the ship, base or vessel and its crew. The Chief of Security has the authority from the Bajoran Militia to detain anyone in violation of the rules and regulations set down by the Militia. In addition to security, the Chief of Security also oversees any tactical units aboard the ship, base or vessel. Security Deputy Security Deputies are the officers and enlisted personnel who make up the bulk of the Security division and act as a police force on the ship, base or vessel. While Security Deputies have gone through the Bajoran Military Academy, many of the deputies were previously members of City Watch, the police force whose jurisdiction includes the provinces of Bajor. First Tactical Officer The First Tactical Officer is usually one of the more senior Tactical Officers on the vessel. Tactical Officers on Bajoran vessels are responsible for running and maintaining the numerous weapons systems aboard the ship, base or vessel. In addition, Tactical Officers offer analysis and tactical planning for current missions. Very often Tactical Officers are also trained in ground combat and small unit tactics. Medical (Primary Manifest)
The healers of the Bajoran Militia, the Medical division on a ship or base are among some of the best trained medical personnel in the quadrant. After completing required coursework at the Bajoran Military Academy, medical students spend great amounts of time at several of Bajor's premier medical facilities before accepting positions in the Militia.
Chief Physician The Chief Physician is the seniormost Medical division officer on the ship, base or vessel. Bajoran medical officers are none to be some of the best in the galaxy and Chief Physicians are at the top of those lists. Despite their military training in order to be in the Militia, most Chief Physicians spend great deals of time at many of Bajor's premier medical facilities and engage in medical research whenever possible.
