Mission Summary
For the first time, the DCF isn't an experiment waiting on permission. It's a government.
The crew gets shore leave in a capital that celebrates and grieves at once. They reunite with family, toast the living, and read names for the dead.
Old Maquis who spent a decade looking over their shoulders now have to work out who they are when no one is hunting them. Some walk down to the docks, looking for a berth on the ship that helped make this possible.
Before the celebrations have faded, the Directorate hands Aleshanee her next assignment: bringing home the ones who never made it back.
