Welcome to the Ada Lovelace!

The Dominion War had left numerous worlds of the Federation and their allies desolate and devastated.
Following the conflict, the Federation's resources were spread thin.
With reconstruction efforts of member worlds, but also in aiding independent worlds affected by the war, and even aiding enemy worlds from the war, providing substantial assistance to help Cardassia recover from the final attacks from the Dominion.
The Federation is also dealing with worlds seeking new allies and membership, as well as members seeking to leave.

Current Mission:
Mission 1: A New Dawn
War has ended, rebuilding has started. The DMZ is in uncertain times, as the Maquis have faded but might shift into a defense force for the colonies within and along the DMZ.
The small crew of the Ada Lovelace raider is at Deep Space Nine on some RnR, after dropping off a representative from the DMZ colonies to persuade the Federation and Starfleet to allow the Maquis to transition into a defense force.
For the crew of the Lovelace, it meant meeting old flames and friends, and meeting new crew, while trying to figure out how to live in this post-war period.

Current Mission:
Mission 1: Quiet Stone
At the formal request of the Bajoran Provisional Government, the Ada Lovelace is tasked with a non-combat logistical and scientific support mission to Prophets Landing, a protected archaeological site located within the Bajoran system. The site is currently under joint supervision by Bajoran scholars, Vedek representatives, and civilian researchers following the discovery of an anomalous stone obelisk of unknown origin.
Again, please keep in mind that it must always be added to the SIM, in line with Star Trek’s tone and community guidelines.

Mission: Quiet Stone
Posted on Mon Feb 16th, 2026 @ 8:55pm by Commander Aleshanee & Chief Warrant Officer Karzen Son of Arjune, Son of Ragan MD, MPH
With the raider being so small, there wasn't a ready room, or actually a conference room, so it was mess or the bunk. + taps + Chief Karzen, do you mind coming to my bunk? I have something to discuss with you. + taps + Aleshanee said, using their new comm badges.
{Now what?} Karzen thought. {Another dressing down?} The old Klingon sighed. +taps+ If I must. On my way now. Be patient. I'm old and move slowly. +taps+
The truth was that Karzen was deceptively fast for a 100+ year old Klingon. Being half-Rihannsu, he had a bit of…

Mission: Quiet Stone
Posted on Mon Feb 16th, 2026 @ 8:55pm by Colonel Vedrum Hazuh & Commander Aleshanee & Technical Sergeant Decker & Technician Tahlina Yanez-Tahli & Lieutenant Kesden Lokn & Flight Officer Phelan Sabrehagen & Chief Warrant Officer Karzen Son of Arjune, Son of Ragan MD, MPH & Warrant Officer Loren Baro & Technical Sergeant Josi Baro & Sergeant Benjamin "Ben" Hall & Senior Technician Jaime Mallory
Vedrum was leaning against the small table at the back of the bridge on the Lovelace. The TIC (Tactical Information Center) added a briefing area without requiring another room. He was just waiting for the crew to arrive. The mission was a simple one, given to them by the Bajor. "Ah! Commander," *Vedrum said as Aleshanee walked onto her bridge.
"Colonel, I am a bit shocked that the Federation is allowing us to take on a mission while a decision is still being made on the CDF," Aleshanee said simply.
"This is more of a we actually don't have the…

Mission: A New Dawn
Posted on Wed Feb 4th, 2026 @ 4:09am by Chief Warrant Officer Karzen Son of Arjune, Son of Ragan MD, MPH & Technical Sergeant Josi Baro
Sickbay aboard the Ada Lovelace was smaller than most starships’ triage rooms; more practical than pristine, the kind of space that had to serve as clinic, trauma ward, and quiet refuge all at once.
Josi stepped inside and let the door hiss shut behind her. For a moment, she took it in, and noticing, there was only one other presence there.
The person she assumed was the doctor was standing nearby, and he was... striking in a way that didn’t resolve cleanly at first glance; Klingon in his broad frame and grounded presence, but intertwined with something sharper. Perhaps Romulan,…

Mission: A New Dawn
Posted on Tue Feb 3rd, 2026 @ 5:19am by Lieutenant Kesden Lokn
Kesden did not sleep again.
He lay still after waking, breathing evenly until his pulse settled and the room felt ordinary enough not to demand attention. The chronometer advanced steadily and indifferently. He watched it without really seeing.
Eventually, he sat up.
For a moment, habit suggested meditation: the familiar discipline of breath and stillness, of returning the mind to something narrow and controlled.
He did not.
The quarters were dark, the air cool, with the usual faint vibration a constant beneath everything else. Familiar. Safe. He let his feet rest on the deck plating longer than necessary, grounding himself…

Mission: A New Dawn
Posted on Mon Feb 2nd, 2026 @ 12:42am by Lieutenant Kesden Lokn & Commander Aleshanee
The conversation with Ziv and Cross still sat heavily in Kesden's mind, not because it had been hostile, but because it had been real. Formal. Structured. The kind of thing that turned lived experience into testimony and survival into record.
He moved through the corridor at an even pace, the hum of the Ada Lovelace steady beneath his feet. He’d agreed to speak, conditionally. The lines had been drawn. Protections discussed.
He paused just outside the Bridge, fingers resting briefly against the bulkhead, grounding himself before entering. This wasn’t a report. It wasn’t a request for permission. It was something…
