Mission: A New Dawn
Posted on Mon Nov 10th, 2025 @ 3:44am by Chief Warrant Officer Karzen Son of Arjune, Son of Ragan MD, MPH & Technician Tahlina Yanez-Tahli
The cargo bay of the Ju'day raiders was small compared to most other ships, but it was still impressive, and took a veteran quartermaster to keep it running efficiently. But that has taken a toll on her body, mainly bruising, a few broken ribs, wrists, and fingers, and a leg. Luckily, a significant number of these injuries occurred while she was working for Earth Cargo Services, allowing her to receive treatment within the company's internal systems. In contrast, the others were out in the frontier, and they were treated to the best of their ability.
Either way, for her, doing…

Posted on Sun Nov 9th, 2025 @ 8:37am by Ziveh Bex & Lieutenant Kesden Lokn
Ziv sighed as she exhaled a billow of smoke, which the environmental systems would sense as just oxygen and some carbon dioxide. But the young blond woman was getting high and, at the moment, staring at the ceiling, her mind racing with everything that had happened with the talks.
Ziv felt like she was losing her edge as she let out another billow of smoke and allowed her mind to shut down a little. Until the chime of her quarters went off, she said, "wha, who in the....," but then she got up and answered, "Yes?"
"It's Lieutenant Lokn," a…

Mission: A New Dawn
Posted on Sun Nov 9th, 2025 @ 2:06am by Commander Aleshanee & Technical Sergeant Decker
Khaki mid-drift buttoned top, sleeves rolled up to just below her elbows, low-riding cargo pants, with a belt featuring her uncle's ranch logo, her arms were crossed as she stared at the grey-haired man in front of her. And before either of them knew what was happening, Aleshanee stepped forward and punched Decker right in the jaw.
Decker stumbled back, shocked by what just happened, "holy shit, what the fuck," he growled, but stopped as he saw the look on her face. "Alright, alright, I deserve that, and probably more," he said, putting his hands up. "....but you knew....," he…

Aleshanee was back on the station, but this time down at the docking ring, the Starfleet engineering team had finished with their TLC on the Lovalace. The team leader walked through the upgrades. The most notable addition was a command chair installed on the bridge, along with a holographic communication system similar to the one found on the Defiant. The other upgrade was a semi-AI program designed to assist with tactical and navigation tasks.
The only other significant addition was the inclusion of an EMH (Emergency Medical Hologram), along with holo-projectors throughout the ship, which enabled the EMH to provide…

Mission: A New Dawn
Posted on Fri Oct 31st, 2025 @ 6:01am by Colonel Vedrum Hazuh & Chief Warrant Officer Karzen Son of Arjune, Son of Ragan MD, MPH
Vedrum has eyes and ears everywhere, hell, it was what El-Aurian's did so well, it was how they survived, so it wasn't a surprise when he learned of a unique Klingon/Rihannsu arriving on Deep Space Nine, and using his contacts, set up a meeting with him, he was sitting in the conference room looking out into the black void of space.
A young woman, Karzen, didn't recognize him as he was finishing his meal. She passed on that Colonel Hazuh wanted to see him at his earliest convenience. Karzen thanked the woman, and she left. After a moment of sitting…
